• EHR system that works for you, not the other way around or it may cause you to lose money.  One of my favorite TV shows doctor lost revenue due to her EHR system. 

• Verifies patient (most EHR systems have this functionality). No payment if the patient does not have active coverage on the date of service.

• Date calculator to ensure claims are submitted within the time filing limit. If not no payment.

• Scheduling - because if you have no patients, no money. Review your fee schedule to see how you can maximize your services. Some services can be performed on the same day and some services cannot.  

• Health insurance portals - check claim status, and resubmit corrected claims or submit claims to secondary payers. There is much you can do with health insurance carrier portals.

The process I have undertaken to maintain a healthy hair regimen is similar to the method, as a healthcare professional,  you will do to maintain a steady cash flow.  The key is to have the essential products/tools for sustaining steady cash flow in 2025.
