Let's discuss THE MONEY. When I began my career in the medical billing field as a payment poster,  my task was to ensure the practices received payments from insurance carriers for each visit. My responsibilities included monitoring that we were being paid the contracted rates and, if not resubmitting claims for the payment difference. Additionally, had to understand patients' benefit plans. A significant amount of money was brought into the practice, and I played a pivotal role in making this happen.

Playing that pivotal role in the revenue cycle was to ensure sustainability and a steady cash flow for the practice. That's the same goal I have for my favorite population Sole and/or Small Group Practices. This is why for 2025, we will be sitting at several tables.
